The Mahabodhi Mahavihāra Temple BTMC organised the Maha Kathina Cīvara Dāna Ceremony today 31st October 2021 under the shades of the Holy Bodhi tree.
Actor Mr. Gagan Malik best known for his leading role in film "Sri Siddhartha Gauthama" participated as Chief Guest in the ceremony. Venerable monks and other devotees from Thailand, Burma, Cambodia and Sri Lanka etc. were present in this ceremony. In this sacred occasion Mr. Gagan Malik offered Robe (Cīvra) to Ven. Monks and Saṅgha. The prayer was laid by Temple Chief Monk Ven. Bhikkhu Chalinda and Ven. Varasambodhi Mahathera addressed to the Saṅgha.
